Start off 2014 with a deluxe-sized episode of “The Dusty Finish”. This episode the boys are starting the year off big discussing Brock Lesnar, the return of Batista, the controversial Daniel Bryan turn, and much more. Plus we finally get to Part 1 of the long-awaited “Biggest Dropped Balls/Missed Opportunities in Wrestling History” conversation. It’s an episode I am sure everyone will want to chime in on – so give it a listen, then give us a shout (via Twitter/Email/FB etc. Don’t actually shout, that’s rude, man.) 2014 is going to be a huge year for TDF podcast, and we’re setting the tone with one of our strongest eps yet. Give it a listen, and tell your friends.
We discuss the Title Unification at TLC, handicap matches, Sin Cara swapping, Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania and more. (Not too much more, that’s pretty much it.)
The Dusty boys give their ‘Survivor Series’ predictions, as well as discussing people being punished for their ‘bad attitude’ backstage and why the weekly free TV has become so much better than the PPVs. A can’t miss discussion. Check it out, you marks.
This week the boys discuss the big improvements to Impact Wrestling – huge Lockdown PPV, the Bully Ray heel turn, their first Impact on the road from Chicago, etc. We also discuss our thoughts on the Mania 29 card thus far, and we read tweets/emails from the listeners who chime in with their thoughts about the various matches/attractions announced for ‘Wrestlemania 29’. Jam packed show on the ‘Road to Wrestlemania’
In this week’s episode we discuss the fallout from the ‘Elimination Chamber’ PPV, The rise of The Shield, where we see Punk fitting into the ‘Mania 29’ card, Swagger’s DUI and current heat-magnet storyline with Zeb Coulter, as well as the history of racism or racially-charged angles in Pro Wrestling. We also introduce 2 new segments to the program – Mike’s ‘Match of the Week’ and Josh’s ‘Pick of the Week’ in which we recommend a foolish, embarrassing, awkward, hilarious video that you can watch if you want to feel ashamed of your favorite hobby – Pro Wrestling.
