Episode 35: New Year Ball-Drops

Start off 2014 with a deluxe-sized episode of “The Dusty Finish”. This episode the boys are starting the year off big discussing Brock Lesnar, the return of Batista, the controversial Daniel Bryan turn, and much more. Plus we finally get to Part 1 of the long-awaited “Biggest Dropped Balls/Missed Opportunities in Wrestling History” conversation. It’s an episode I am sure everyone will want to chime in on – so give it a listen, then give us a shout (via Twitter/Email/FB etc. Don’t actually shout, that’s rude, man.) 2014 is going to be a huge year for TDF podcast, and we’re setting the tone with one of our strongest eps yet. Give it a listen, and tell your friends.

  1. Hey fellas, like I’ve stated on twitter you guys are fantastic and I find myself going through all your old podcasts while im on the road or watching a game with sound down . I really enjoyed the drop balls segment ,absolutely dead on ,but I just wanted to comment on your portion in which you talked about the Miz on Mike and Kathy’s morning show. The fact that Strahan would put Pro Wrestling on blast is a slap in the face to all of those former football players who used Wrestling as a way to support there families and maintain some sort of career in the off season or after their careers were over. Ernie Ladd, Wahoo McDaniels ( who by the way would have beat ole Strahans ASS) and countless others who didnt have the benefit of huge contracts to live on or live in a time in which being a large black man being all snarky and buddy buddy with a petite white lady on nation wide tv would flat out get you murdered. While i respect MS as an athlete I’ve lost all respect hearing that he has so little regard for a form of entertainment that 40 yrs ago more than likely would have paid his bills . In closing if MS continues to be a host he should do some research before he makes something the subject of his punchlines. Keep up the great work!!!!!!
